The Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown collection takes its inspiration from some of the world's most characterful timbers, from classic European oaks, elms, maples and birches to quintessential Australian species including blackbutt and spotted gum. Each design is crafted in-house to replicate the distinctive colour, tone, grain detail and texture of the timber that inspired it, with none of the ongoing maintenance demands of natural hardwood. Van Gogh Gluedown is a 3.0mm thick luxury vinyl tile laid in a plank format, with each plank measuring 1219mm x 178mm and a box coverage of 3.252m². The 0.55mm clear PVC embossed wear layer provides protection from everyday wear and tear, while K-Guard+® surface protection, using polyurethane technology, gives the floor a hygienic and durable finish. The micro bevel edge profile adds definition between planks. Karndean describes the backing layers as providing indentation resistance and recovery. The collection sits in Karndean's mid-range pricing tier. Because Van Gogh Gluedown is installed with permanent adhesive, it opens up a broad range of laying patterns, including herringbone, staggered, diagonal with border and striped layouts. No expansion gap is required, and Karndean's design strips and decorative borders can be used to personalise the floor further. Karndean states the floor is water-resistant and that planks won't swell, crack or warp when wet. Van Gogh Gluedown is also compatible with underfloor heating systems up to 27°C. Room suitability published by Karndean for the AU market covers living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens and bedrooms.

Van Gogh Gluedown is backed by Karndean's 35-year residential warranty on the AU market, covering product wear-out and manufacturing defects. Routine care involves a sweep and mop with Karndean Clean; no sanding, varnishing or staining is required. If a plank is ever damaged, the individual plank format means it can be replaced without disturbing the rest of the floor. All installation and maintenance must follow Karndean's published guidelines to maintain warranty validity.
