NuCore Extreme

Terra Mater's NuCore Extreme is a heavy-duty laminate range designed for Australian homes and commercial spaces that need a floor to work hard without compromising on style. The collection spans 10 colourways, ranging from warm cocoa and timber-inspired tones through to cooler greys and neutral whites, offering strong design flexibility for a wide range of interiors. NuCore Extreme is built on a CARB 2 compliant HDF core and carries an AC5 Heavy Commercial surface wear rating, the highest AC classification available, tested to AS/NZS 4266.20:2004. The aluminium oxide wear layer is complemented by a registered and natural embossing surface texture and a bevelled profile. Boards are 2250mm x 193mm x 12mm, with four boards per pack covering 1.698m². The 5G Välinge click system allows for a floating installation without the need for adhesive. Visiting the Domain Flooring showroom in Carnegie is the best way to assess the texture, tone and finish across the colourway range in real conditions.

NuCore Extreme is tested to a slip rating of P3 dry (AS 4586-2013), and Terra Mater publishes acoustic test results for installation with EvaLay underlay, showing L'nTw = 38 and FIIC = 72 with both 2mm and 3mm options. The product is suitable for in-slab hydronic underfloor heating at a maximum slab surface temperature of 26°C, subject to strict adherence to Terra Mater's installation instructions. NuCore Extreme must not be installed in bathrooms, laundries, saunas or any other area with high moisture or steam, as the HDF core is not waterproof. Spills should be wiped up immediately and the floor must never be wet mopped or flooded.

Terra Mater backs NuCore Extreme with a 30-year Residential Wear Warranty, a 10-year Commercial Wear Warranty and a Lifetime Structural Warranty. Warranty coverage is conditional on installation by a qualified installer in full compliance with Terra Mater's published installation instructions, and ongoing maintenance in accordance with the NuCore Cleaning and Maintenance Guide. Steam mops and ammonia-based cleaners are strictly prohibited and will void the warranty.

Best suited to: Residential living areas, bedrooms, hallways and light to normal-traffic commercial settings (as described by Terra Mater). For indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, laundries, saunas or outdoor areas.
