Preference Floors Oakleaf Laminate is designed for homeowners and renovators who want the character and warmth of natural timber without the cost. Preference Floors describes the collection as presenting authentic European Oak and Australian timber visuals, with décor layers offering washed out and cool muted tones alongside traditional timber characteristics. The range includes familiar Australian species such as Blackbutt and Spotted Gum alongside contemporary Oak-inspired colourways, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of interior styles.

The Oakleaf collection is available in two construction options: a 12mm plank rated AC4 measuring 2200 x 193mm, and an 8mm plank rated AC3 measuring 1215 x 195mm. Both feature a UV cured acrylic coating, a micro-bevel profile on all four sides and a realistic timber surface texture. The HDF core is FSC certified. With 15 named colourways across the range (availability varies by thickness), there is plenty to explore. When installed with Preference Floors' 2mm Ultra Green U'Lay, the Oakleaf Laminate achieves tested acoustic results of L'nT,w = 45 (12mm) and L'nT,w = 44 (8mm), both compliant with the NCC/BCA 2016 criterion for multi-residential impact noise insulation. The product installs as a floating floor using an Angle/Angle click system licensed by Flooring Industries. It is suitable for installation over in-slab Hydronic heating only. The warranty does not cover installation over Hydronic In-Screed, electric heat blanket or above-floor heating systems. This product is not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms or laundries.

The Oakleaf Laminate comes with a 25 Year Limited Structural Warranty, a 20 Year Limited Residential Wear Warranty and a 5 Year Limited Commercial Wear Warranty. Warranties are conditional on installation and ongoing maintenance being carried out in accordance with Preference Floors' published guidelines, including avoiding steam mopping, wet mopping and abrasive or supermarket-grade cleaning products.
