The construction combines a technologically advanced SPC core (rigid, waterproof and sound absorbent), a high definition photographic print layer, and a protective UV coating. Every plank arrives with 1.5mm of pre attached high density acoustic underlay, providing both comfort underfoot and measured acoustic benefits. The boards lock via the Valinge 5G click system, which enables single-action vertical snap installation without tools, straightforward enough for experienced DIYers, yet robust enough for professional installers. Available in 13 distinct colour options, from natural timber tones like Oak Latte and Blackbutt to contemporary options such as Bondi Sands and Dune, each design delivers a sharp, realistic aesthetic.

The product is fully waterproof with a water absorption rate of just 0.01%, making it genuinely suitable for wet areas including kitchens, laundries, powder rooms and bathrooms (excluding shower recesses). Because the SPC core does not expand or contract, no perimeter expansion joints are required, only a modest 1mm to 2mm gap around the walls. Installation is straightforward: acclimate for 24 to 48 hours, prepare a flat substrate (±3mm over 3m), and float the boards across any stable base (concrete, wood, tiles). The P4 slip rating meets Australian Standard AS 4586-2013, making the surface safe underfoot even when damp. The product is allergy friendly, asthma friendly, mould and pest resistant, and pet friendly, though keeping pet claws trimmed will help preserve the surface.

Aqua Stone comes backed by a 30 year Residential Wear Warranty and 30-year Structural Warranty (limited liability), plus a 20 year light commercial warranty. Maintenance is simple: regular sweeping or vacuuming, occasional damp mopping with a pH neutral cleaner, and immediate cleanup of spills. Do not use steam mops, ammonia or bleach-based cleaners, which will damage the coating and void warranty. The product is certified to Greenguard Gold, with zero formaldehyde, asbestos or harmful phthalates, and is tested to Australian fire resistance standards. At 8.5mm thick with integral acoustic underlay, it sits between entry level vinyl and traditional hybrid, offering superior rigidity and waterproofing at accessible pricing.
